Iranian Director Faces Execution for Queer Film

If Kiana Firouz is forcfully deported from Great Britain, she could meet the fate of her queer, Iranian brothers and sisters who've been martyred in the past for the "unspeakable sin of homosexuality." The British government quickly denied Firouz's appeals for assylum. Apparently, brown women are not welcome in most parts of the EU even if deportation means torture and death. It scares me how deeply (white-)nationalism has infected the people of "democratic" states like the US and EU.

P.S.
I've got an attick with room enough for any queer Iranians who might need it.
